Cute Kid Stuff as of late

Quotes:

After a time out for disobeying, I was talking to Grace about what she had done, and said, "It's called disobedience".  She said. "It's also called murdering"!

As we were discussing what heaven would be like, Grace got wide eyed and excited saying, "There's going to be a great big meal when we get to heaven too"!  I said, "Yes, it's called the marriage supper of the lamb".  She asked what kind of food I thought we would eat.  I answered, "Oh, maybe some ham, potatoes, . . ." and quickly Grace's expression turned to a frown and she said, "No, Mom, Jesus doesn't have that kind of food in heaven".  I asked her what kinds of foods He had, and, after thinking a second, she said,  "Bread . . . wine . . . fish . . . more bread . . . and more wine".  (Only the foods mentioned in her favorite Bible stories about Jesus will apparently be available, folks!


Grace:  "Mom, do I have a metal knee or a plastic knee?"  (Someone has been spending too much time with an 85 year old with a knee replacement! 

Grace (speaking to little sister Emma):  "God is specialer than anything you could ever want".

  

After walking past a statue of Jesus hold little children on his lap, Grace says, "I want Jesus to hold me too"!
