Oh my goodness.
Today has been one of those days where you feel like you are spending the entire day way down at the end of your rope.
Not sure if it was me or everyone else, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it was mostly me.
Today was a day of the same question asked at least 15 times in the span of an hour by my four year old. (With the same "no" answer every time).
Today was a day of kiddos doing whatever their knee-jerk reaction was to do at any given moment . . . screaming, opening the basement door when they know they need to ask permission first, (still have a young one we don't trust on basement stairs), treating nap time like party time, and lots of selective listening to Mom.
It was a day of preparing a really great dinner of grilled steak and asparagus, roasted sweet potatoes, and artichoke, and spilling a glass of wine all over it.
It was a day of the microwave shorting out in a near-explosion kind of way.
It was a day of almost getting backed into by a lady not checking who was behind her before she backed out in the parking lot, (and her giving me the evil eye for being on my way out of the parking lot behind her at the moment she was going to back out)!
It was a day of way too much
hyper talking in the car by the kiddos at the same time I was trying to talk on
the phone or to the passenger.
It was a day of sitting for an hour and a half at the car dealership trying to keep the kiddos entertained and in one general vicinity that they did not necessarily want to stay in.
It was not my best day.
Thankfully, tomorrow is a new one.
