Layering has been such a fun way for me to give my outfits more interest. The color combos are flattering for almost everyone, and it's also a great way to stay warm!
There are probably more perfect belts to pair with this outfit, but this brown one was what I had so I decided to run with it.
Both the grey sweater and the plaid shirt are from Plato's Closet (I'm obsessed with Plato's). (sweater = $12, plaid shirt = $8) The jeans are Express because never in all my days will I find jeans that fit me better than Express. I've owned the jeans for years so let's not count them in the price of creating this ensemble. To me, jeans are like underwear. You have to have them anyway, so it's more about what you pair with them. Is that a stretch? Belt was TJ Maxx ($10) and tank was Target ($6). [price w/o jeans = $36)
